Youth First Aid & CPR
At OurCommunity, we recognize the importance of equipping our youth for unforeseen emergencies. Through our training, your child will not only develop self-assurance and interpersonal skills but will also be instilled with the essential knowledge to assist loved ones in critical situations. We are committed to molding our young participants into future pillars of the community.
CLASSES WE OFFER
FIRST AID + CPR/AED
This course is designed for people with little to no medical training who need a course competition card for their job. This is a 6-hour class that will prepare you to handle a wide range of emergency situations.
FIRST AID
This class is designed to train people in first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies. You will learn calling for help, assesing a patient, and administering first aid.
CPR/AED
This course is designed to teach students CPR, and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an effective and timely manner.

How young can my kid learn First Aid and CPR?
While there's no strict age limit for learning First Aid and CPR, children as young as nine or ten are often mature enough to grasp the basic concepts and techniques. The key is to ensure the training is age-appropriate, with hands-on practice tailored to their physical capabilities. Starting early empowers kids with valuable life-saving skills, fostering a sense of responsibility and readiness for emergency situations
What does First Aid teach?
First Aid for kids is tailored to empower children with age-appropriate knowledge and skills to address common accidents and emergencies they might encounter. The training focuses on teaching them how to recognize potential dangers, provide immediate care for minor injuries like cuts or scrapes, and when to seek adult help or call emergency services. Through engaging and hands-on lessons, children not only learn vital life-saving techniques but also develop a sense of responsibility and awareness about safety.
